On the Eleventh Day of a Feminine Christmas

Congratulations if you made it this far! I have no doubt that you sprinkled fairy dust on everyone that was on your list. And yes, Merry Christmas M’Lady! You pulled another holiday off for all those you love.

Is your roast or turkey in the oven yet? Crackers on the table? Stockings emptied and rejoiced over? Flambe dessert or brownies with ice cream? It doesn’t matter how elaborate your meal, decorations or even your presents are. You did it and created another memorable and  beautiful Christmas for all. Women always do and that’s why this is called the Feminine Christmas series. It’s my salute to you dear ladies! Every year in every way, you come through for those you love…

Merry Christmas!

Oh, this lovely post certainly resonates with me. I have worked all month long (as so many of us do) to create a magical Christmas for my family. As all the carefully chosen stocking stuffers and gifts are opened, the favorite cookies are eaten and the family rejoices in being together, I feel that warm flush of happiness that I pulled off another Christmas to be remembered. Thank you for the pat on the back and the recognition that we work hard to make those Christmas memories.

I always love reading this series of Christmas posts. Thank you.

Merry Christmas!! It’s so true that the trappings, treasures, and fun of creating a memorable Christmas often falls to the lady of the house. And while some may complain, I think it’s a sacred trust. The ways women with all their creativity and passion and love and whimsy commemorate the birth of Jesus with such ingenuity and joy–it’s magical and miraculous! And your blog posts celebrating the special contribution women make to their households, and, yes, to their world, makes it all the more wonderful.
